Rallied by Bush, Skittish G.O.P. Now Embraces War as Issue - New York Times

The first thing I did after noting the strange placement of the top-of-the-fold headline (columns 4 and 5) was read the by-line. Adam Nagourney of Hillary Clinton 2000 Senate run fawning coverage fame.

I knew something worth noting would be written.

Apparently killed? Were they or weren't they? Were the bodies booby-trapped with bombs?

What is wrong with the Times?

Nevermind that the TOTF space was as long as the remainder of the article on the jump page.

Europe's Green Image Clashes With Reliance on Coal - New York Times

Has anyone else noticed the new tactic of the Catastrophic Climate Change Club (The 4Cs)?

It is to state the number of tons of carbon dioxide each contributor to 3C spews. In this article, it is 10 meeeeeeeel-yun tons!!!!!

A tactic of a weak mind. 10 million??!?!?!? That is such a large number, but I have no idea where it comes from, but it is large and scary!

How much does an aircraft carrier weigh? 20,000 to 65,000 tons! Knowing that, you would think it could never float on water. After all, a Matchbox car sinks in the tub and it only weighs a couple ounces!

Sunscreens faulted on cancer protection - Yahoo! News

Am I crazy to think the whole sunscreen industry is a scam?

Is the sun really deadly enough that you must slather sunscreen "apply liberally and often."

Doesn't that sound like Big Sunscreen forcing people to buy more and more product?
