Appeal to Young on Pension Plan Gets the Attention of Their Elders
From today's NYT:
An anecdotal account fo a meeting conservative Pennsylvania Senator, Rick Santorum hosted on Social Security reform. As recounted, it was negative because the fire came from the pro-status quo. I wonder if any of them were plants?
Anyhow, I am convinced the is only one solution. Benefits must be cut, and they must be cut for the Baby Boomers. Not for the children of the Baby Boomers who will be retiring in 2042.
Stop the wage indexing 5 to ten years prior to the retirment age. Solved.
