GOP Seeking a Deal on Accounts (washingtonpost.com)
The analogy to Hillary-care is false.
Hillarycare failed in the first two years of Clinton's 1st term. Bush has already had a successful first term with history making events like Afghanistan and Despot Disposal.
Democracy in the Middle East will outwiegh any short-term defeats on SS privitization. Nevermind, that history will right that Bush had always been concenred about the fiscal stability of the program and inevitably come-up when taxes must go up to cover the shortfall in payroll tax collection.
