N.Y. Court Rejects Attempt to Recognize Gay Marriage - New York Times

Wow! If the the New York Supreme Court won't redefine marriage in a state where opposition to redefintion would be shouted down with the latest verbal weapons, "Intolerant!" "Racist!"

(What? "Racist?" Sure radicals always work that into any invective-laden argument.)

I'm having a hard time reconciling the fact that, a few years ago, homosexuals only wanted "civil unions" in order to obtain privileges like hospital visitation rights and employee healthcare benefits and the such with the demand for "marriage".

Given that the percent of the population that is gay is in the low single digits, anything advancing their agenda is out of the norm by definition.

And I am leery of the radicals within that sliver of the population and where the next "incremental" change occurs once traditional marriage is destroyed.
